Dataset underlying the publication "Water hyacinths retain river plastics"

This dataset is related to the publication "Water hyacinths retain river plastics". It is comprised of plastic concentrations, water hyacinth coverage and plastic transport rates estimates over the Saigon river, Vietnam, between December 2020 and January 2022.• The dataset is comprised of two data sources: (1) Data collected by Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) images [‘UAV images data’ sheet] and (2) Plastic transport data [‘Plastic transport data’ sheet]. The UAV images data shows the metrics used for quantifying water hyacinth abundance and plastic concentrations for all collected UAV images. The raw UAV images are made openly and freely accessible, in a separate data repository.

本数据集关联于学术论文《水葫芦留存河道塑料》（Water hyacinths retain river plastics），涵盖2020年12月至2022年1月期间越南西贡河的塑料浓度、水葫芦覆盖度以及塑料运输速率估算数据。本数据集包含两类数据源：(1) 由无人机（Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, UAV）影像采集得到的数据（对应工作表「UAV影像数据」）；(2) 塑料运输数据（对应工作表「塑料运输数据」）。其中无人机影像数据包含用于量化所有采集到的无人机影像中水葫芦丰度与塑料浓度的相关指标。原始无人机影像已在独立数据仓库中公开并免费开放获取。
