According to a survey in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region on the Arab youth in 2020, 67 percent of Arab youth respondents in the region believed that women were more likely to have an increase in family responsibilities following the COVID-19 pandemic. The majority of Arab youth respondents in the region believed that it was more likely for women to look for a job after the pandemic.
