NSW Foundation Spatial Data Framework - Administrative Boundaries - Local Government Area

Local Government Area depicts polygons of gazette boundaries defining the Local Government Area. It contains all of the cadastral line data or topographic features which are used to define the boundaries between adjoining shires,\r\nmunicipalities, cities (Local Government Act 1993) and the unincorporated areas of NSW. The dataset also contains Council Names and ABS Codes It is a feature class within the NSW Digital Cadastral Database (DCDB).
