Explores the urgent challenges of climate change and rising sea levels, with a focus on Vietnam, identified as one of the top 10 nations most vulnerable to substantial impacts. The escalating complexity of climate-related events, including storms, floods, and saltwater intrusion, poses imminent threats to agricultural land and the livelihoods of multiple generations. Emphasizing industries directly impacted, particularly in resource and environmental sectors, the study advocates for strategic adjustments in planning to confront the challenges arising from climate change and rising sea levels. It proposes proactive solutions, encompassing both structural and non-structural approaches, tailored to the diverse terrains of different regions. In the realm of construction and building materials for offshore structures following Vietnamese standards, traditional concrete technology encounters limitations due to material scarcity and escalating costs. The study introduces the groundbreaking Miclayco concrete technology, incorporating the CSSB additive derived from locally available materials and formulated in a seawater environment. This innovative technology demonstrates effectiveness even in regions where traditional concrete falls short of meeting requirements. The research includes a comprehensive analysis of the environmental impact of CSSB, showcasing its compatibility with marine ecosystems and minimal adverse effects. Practical applications of Miclayco in constructing coastal embankments in challenging conditions highlight its durability and resistance to natural forces over an extended period. Despite notable successes, the study acknowledges challenges such as incorrect construction procedures and insufficient maintenance. Recommendations for proper execution and ongoing research for larger-scale applications in the East Sea region are proposed, with the aim of contributing significantly to economic, technical, and environmental advancements. This innovative approach emerges as a promising solution to adapt to the current challenges of climate change and rising sea levels in Vietnam, offering cost-effectiveness and enhanced resource efficiency compared to traditional concrete technologies..
