Imbibition and evaporation dynamics of water droplets deposited on an oxidized mesoporous silicon layer
收藏资源简介:
Dataset corresponding to the following scientific article: Coupled imbibition and evaporation of droplets deposited on a nanoporous layer Joachim Trosseille, Hugo Bellezza & Olivier Vincent published in Langmuir 10.1021/acs.langmuir.5c05457 (also available in the arXiv: 10.48550/arXiv.2510.19932) Tabular data is stored in three different files, all in .tsv format (CSV with tabs as separators). In all tables, the unit is indicated in parentheses, and the suffix _err indicates uncertainties. HaloData.tsvLucas-Washburn parameter $w$, evaporation timescale $\tau$ and maximum halo extension $L_\mathrm{max}$ as a function of the relative humidity (RH).Corresponds to experimental data reported in Figure 7. HaloFits.tsvResults of the fitting of the $w$ and $\tau$ data of HaloData.tsv, using Equations (33) and (35) in the article.Note that relative humidities are expressed in %RH but the actual decimal value needs to be used in the equations (i.e., 60%RH corresponds to $\mathcal{H} = 0.6$).With this data it is possible to plot the fit lines (gray) in Figure 7. DropData.tsvSteady-state droplet evaporation rates as a function of the relative humidity (RH), corresponds to the data in Figure 8b in the paper. Data in Figures 9 and 10 can be directly calculated from the above data (see article for details).
