Dispersion state of multi-walled carbon nanotubes in the UHMWPE matrix: Effects on the mechanical and tribological response

The data are used to characterise the influence of the MWCNTs state in the UHMWPE matrix, and in the tribological performance of the composites loaded with different concentrations of MWCNTs. The dispersion state of MWCNTs in the polymer matrix was assessed, along with the hardness and the wear performance. The tribological response was studied by evaluating the wear rate, fricition coefficient and wear debris.本数据集用于开展两类研究：一是表征多壁碳纳米管（MWCNTs）在超高分子量聚乙烯（UHMWPE）基体中的存在状态，以及该状态对不同浓度多壁碳纳米管填充复合材料摩擦学性能的影响；二是评估多壁碳纳米管在聚合物基体中的分散状态，测试材料的硬度与磨损性能，并通过分析磨损率、摩擦系数及磨屑，探究复合材料的摩擦学响应。
