Repeat abundance across Drosophila species

We study the relationship between repeat abundance and rate of evolution in heterochromatin-related genes. We generated sequences from 16 Drosophila species with Illumina sequencing with PCR-free protocol. Then we surveyed satellite repeat and transposable element abundance across these 16 species/samples.
