In depth characterisation of the impact of wheat bran on the human gut microbiome

Using 16S rRNA gene sequencing on an Illumina platform, an in depth characterisation of wheat bran colonisation by the human faecal microbiota of 10 different individuals was performed in vitro. Different wheat bran products with chemical and structural modifications were compared. This is a follow-up study of the NCBI submission SRP091957.
