This dataset contains values of soil methane flux (ng CH4 m-2 s-1) in four neighboring areas in a local ranch in the Argentinas Pampas (Tandil, Buenos Aires, Argentina; 37° 33´34.79 S; 59° 0.7´50.29´´ W). We studied an agricultural land (crop), a natural grassland area, and two pinus radiata afforestation with different tree densities. We use the static chamber technique to measure soil gas flux: 5 chambers per land use per measurement day. 12 measurement days were carried out between 2015 and 2019, covering all seasons. This data set also contains each chamber's average temperature (°C) and the atmospheric pressure (atm). This information was useful for determining the net soil CH4 flux of each surface and the effect of the human frontier between the natural land use and the agriculture or afforestation use, considering that the natural grassland is the baseline for this region.

本数据集收录阿根廷潘帕斯草原(Argentinas Pampas)某本地牧场四个毗邻区域的土壤甲烷通量(ng CH₄·m⁻²·s⁻¹)数据,具体点位位于阿根廷布宜诺斯艾利斯省坦迪尔,地理坐标为南纬37°33′34.79″、西经59°0′50.29″。本研究涵盖四种土地利用类型:农田(耕地)、天然草原,以及两种造林密度各异的辐射松(Pinus radiata)人工林。采用静态箱法(static chamber technique)测定土壤气体通量:每个土地利用类型在每次测量日均布设5个采样箱。2015年至2019年间共开展12次野外测量,覆盖全年所有季节。本数据集同时收录各采样箱的平均气温(℃)与大气压强(atm)。上述数据可用于计算各地表的土壤甲烷净通量,并可分析天然土地利用与农田、人工林利用模式间的人类活动边界效应——本研究以天然草原作为该区域的基准参照。
