Genomic sequences of genetically modified P. falciparum parasites: deletion and tagging of pf3d7_0315600

This study aimed to characterize a genetic knockout and tagged parasite line of the pf3d7_0315600 locus in Plasmodium falciparum NF54 parasites. The genetic knockout line was used to determine the phenotypic differences in the parasite's ability to progress through its lifecycle and the tagged protein line was used to characterize the molecular function of the PF3D7_0315600 protein.
