Colonic MSCs from high fat diet (HFD)-fed mice promoted the growth of tumorigenic properties and accelerated the expression of cancer stem cell (CSC)-related markers in colon organoids. Therefore, we needed to find out whether fibroblasts play an important role in HFD-induced tumorigenesis.
