The Ontological Reduction of Gravity in Perspective Theory: A Refutation of Quantum Gravity

Abstract This paper presents a foundational ontological reduction of gravity, framed within Steven McDowell’s Perspective Theory. It challenges the conventional search for a quantum theory of gravity by exposing the inherent illogic of attempting to locate a paradoxical curved "form" within a field governed by superposition and probability. Gravity is redefined not as a force or quantum field, but as the perspectival stillness of form emerging from curved motion and relational reference frames. The implications reveal why quantum gravity remains elusive: the very conditions that produce gravity defy analysis within traditional quantum frameworks. The paper also addresses gravitational delay and the nature of the universal "Now" as motion in curvature, emphasizing that the absence of relation implies a purely straight, uncurved state. This ontological view provides clarity and coherence absent in current models.
