Traditional Asian Diet and Gut Microbiome and Metabolome

We conducted a four-week randomized controlled trial with healthy Asian adult women (n=21). Participants were divided into two groups: the TAD group (n=11) following a newly developed TAD program and the control group (n=10) maintaining their regular diet. Assessments included dietary intake, gut health (symptoms, stool form, frequency), serum FABP-2 levels, fecal microbiome via 16s rRNA sequencing, and fecal and urine metabolites.
