In the columns from “U. pinnatifida” to “Geniculate coralline red algae”, “+” indicates that each species was present and “−” indicates that it was absent. In the “Bottom type” column, “sand” and “cobble” indicate each boulder on sandy bottom and on natural cobble/boulder bottom. The “Vegetation type” column shows the seafloor vegetation type, which is classified according to Table 2. In the “Relative Height” and “Surface Complexity” columns, geomorphic indicators (relative height and surface complexity) were shown. For the 18 boulders located in outer edge areas of the 3D model, geomorphic indicators were not calculated (S3 Fig). (CSV)
