2020年1月22日，由Granuaile号科考船在M5站位（坐标51°41′24″N，6°42′16″W）布放气象浮标（weather buoy）。2021年9月7日，由Celtic Explorer号科考船回收该M5气象浮标，并完成该站位浮标的替换作业。
