Crown-of-thorns starfish (Acanthaster planci) feeding behaviour and preferences (1986-1987), Great Barrier Reef

Data on the feeding behaviour of Crown-of-Thorns Starfish (COTS) Acanthaster planci from two projects - P. Moran (1982-1987) and J. Keesing (1990). The data records the diameter, outbreak status, density, condition and activity of COTS, and the species of coral on which it is found, along with that of the nearest 5 coral neighbours.
