Transcriptome annotation of HAdV41

We developed the Nanopore Guided Annotation of Transcriptome Architectures (NAGATA) software and demonstrate, using a combination of synthetic and real datasets, its high level of precision and recall when reconstructing viral transcriptomes from DRS datasets. We further apply this approach to generate a new high resolution transcriptome annotation of the understudied human adenovirus type F 41 for which we identify over 80 distinct transcripts encoding at least 25 different proteins.
