This dataset contains social media posts collected from Platform X (formerly Twitter) between January 1, 2023 and March 31, 2023, covering the period before, during, and after the February 6, 2023 earthquakes in Türkiye. The data include posts from 52 Fortune 500 brands operating in Türkiye across multiple industries. The dataset enables analysis of how brands communicated corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts during the disaster and how message composition, brand origin, and contextual relevance influenced public engagement. Posts are coded through structured content analysis, and engagement metrics are directly recorded from Platform X. The data also include disaster-period segmentation and message-type classifications for CSR and relief communication. This dataset supports research on CSR communication, disaster communication, engagement analytics, and cross-cultural brand communication in crisis contexts. Time coverage: January 1, 2023 – March 31, 2023.
