The adjuvant combination of dmLT and MPL-A activates the canonical, non-pyroptotic NLRP3 inflammasome in dendritic cells

The purpose if this experiment was to determine how a 24 hour treatment with dmLT, MPL-A, and the combination thereof induced gene expression in dendritic cells when compared to LPS and ATP treatment. The knowledge gained from this study would allow us to identify mechanistic pathways that are unique to each adjuvant, which would allow us to further explore their function in DCs. We compared bone marrow derived dendritic cell RNA expression when treated with either the adjuvants dmLT, MPL-A, or the combination of the two adjuvants for 24 hours to determine differences in gene expression between these groups
