Panama: ranking in the global innovation Index 2011-2021

In 2021, Panama reached the 83rd position in the Global Innovation Index out of a total of 130 countries. This represents a setback in comparison to the position reached in the last recent years. Panama's place in the ranking was at its highest in the 52nd position in 2014 and at its lowest in the 87th position in 2012. The country had an overall score of 28 in the Global Innovation Index (out of a maximum of 100) in 2021.
