This repository contains all the raw data and the code used to generate the figures of the article "Probing Majorana localization of a phase-controlled three-site Kitaev chain with an additional quantum dot". The "LoopKitaev3.ipynb" notebook generates all the main text and Extended Data figures. To run it, create a fresh environment with the following python packages: ultraplot, jupyterlab, xarray, netcdf4, and tqdm. With conda, you can use the following instructions: conda create -n lk3 python=3.12 conda activate lk3 conda install -c conda-forge ultraplot jupyterlab xarray netcdf4 tqdm scipy jupyter lab If you want to run the theory fits as well, you can install a more extensive conda environment from our env.yml file and run the following. cd theoryconda env create -f env.ymlconda activate loopkitaev3sh run.sh This sequence extracts the spectrum from the transport measurements, runs a best fit routine (this might take several hours, especially for the spinful model of a three-site Kitaev chain), prints the optimised parameters, and plots the two Supplementary Information figures.
