PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biodegradable composition which is not only biodegradable, but also can improve a heat distortion temperature, impact strength, and tensile strength. SOLUTION: Provided is a biodegradable composition, comprising: 5 wt.% to 90 wt.% of polylactic acid (PLA); 5 wt.% to 80 wt.% of vegetable fibers; and 5 wt.% to 70 wt.% of maleic acid anhydride-grafted polybutylene succinate (PBS-g-MA), acrylic acid-grafted polybutylene succinate (PBS-g-AA), or a decane-grafted polybutylene succinate coupling agent (PBS-g-Silane). Therefore, articles produced according to the present invention are not only biodegradable but also can improve a heat distortion temperature, impact strength, and tensile strength. Also, by controlling a ratio of each component, it becomes possible to control compatibility between each component and to accelerate crystallization of polylactic acid. SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
