The COVADIS Data Standard on Risk Prevention Plans includes all technical and organisational specifications for the digital storage of geographical data represented in the Risk Prevention Plans (RPPs). The Risk Prevention Plans (RPPs) were established by the Law of 2 February 1995 on the strengthening of environmental protection. The PPR tool is part of the law of 22 July 1987 on the organisation of civil security, the protection of the forest against fire and the prevention of major risks. The development of a PPR falls within the competence of the State. It is decided by the Prefect.
