This report focuses on research projects that met their intended end use during FY25, between October 1, 2024 and September 30, 2025. This includes projects that advanced from Readiness Level (RL) 8 to 9, as well as projects that were completed, demonstrated, or transitioned into sustained use at other RLs. The FY25 report highlights a selection of impactful transition stories from across NOAA, emphasizing why these projects matter, what capabilities were delivered, and how they improved NOAA's ability to serve the nation. In addition, the report provides an overview of FY25 transition data, including the total number of transition projects, their transition types, and the end users and adopters they were designed to support.
