16S metagenome of rhizosphere and fruit of robusta coffee

This dataset contains 16S rRNA metagenomic profiles of bacterial communities associated with the rhizosphere and fruit of Coffea canephora (Robusta coffee) grown under different cultivation systems, including conventional, transitional-organic, and fully organic management. The study aims to characterize the bacterial composition and diversity in both the rhizosphere and fruit environments, and to identify shared (core) bacterial taxa between these compartments under each farming system. The results contribute to understanding how agricultural practices shape the coffee-associated microbiome and its potential roles in plant health and fruit quality.
