资源简介:
Mozart's Great Mass in C Minor is no longer the Christian soundtrack to seduce spiritual emotions into crying out for a better world. The lyrics of gospel songs play an updated role in this cry. The aim was to analyze the neo-Pentecostals' appropriation of this better world in the context of the Brazilian state's work in building public policies. The analysis is intercontinental and based on Critical Discourse Studies. Antônio Manzatto's concept of musical seductions was used with illustrations in three gospel video clips and in support of materials treated by the textuality and interdiscursiveness of song lyrics. The musical genre showed that there was a greater logic to the ideational functioning of neo-Pentecostals between 2010 and 2010, and the results show a relationship with Gøsta Esping-Andersen's conceptual framework on Protestant religious groups, revisited by Philip Manow
