Factor structure and psychometric properties of the RFQ-8 in a Polish sample

Dataset includes data from the study aimed at verifying the factor structure and assessing the psychometric properties of the Polish adaptation of the short version of the Reflective Functioning Questionnaire (RFQ-8). The sample consists of 538 participants in the age range from 17 to 50 (M = 21.44, SD = 2.92). All participants were fluent in Polish and were students of various areas of study at the five different universities in Warsaw in Poland. A majority of participants (98%) declared that Poland was their country of origin. All participants completed the RFQ-8 and the Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale (DERS). A total of 338 participants completed The Relationship Structures (ECR-RS) questionnaire, General Health Questionnaire GHQ-28 and The Borderline Personality Inventory (BPI ).
