Replication Data for: From Survival Reflex to Strategic Statecraft: A Text Mining Analysis of Türkiye’s Mining Policy

This repository contains the comprehensive raw textual dataset and custom Python source code supporting the manuscript "From Survival Reflex to Strategic Statecraft: A Text Mining Analysis of Türkiye’s Mining Policy."

The dataset comprises 65 years (1963–2028) of national planning documents, including 12 National Development Plans and multiple Special Expert Commission Reports (SECR) on mining, coal, and metal minerals. The provided Python scripts allow for full reproduction of the NLP preprocessing, TF-IDF-based keyword extraction, and sentiment evolution analysis. These materials are shared to promote transparency and computational reproducibility in mineral policy research.
