AGE_mat

Ages of captive breeding female Adelie penguins (in years) at SeaWorld San Diego from 1992 to 2015. Each column represents a year, each row represents a different individual. Negative values for a given individual/year indicate that this female had not yet been born (to avoid NAs in the matrix). These data are used in the hierarchical model in Youngflesh et al. Journal of Animal Ecology.本数据集收录了1992年至2015年间，圣地亚哥海洋世界（SeaWorld San Diego）内圈养繁育的阿德利企鹅（Adélie Penguin）雌性个体的年龄数据（单位：年）。数据集每一列对应一个年份，每一行对应一只不同的个体。若某个体在某一年份的取值为负值，则代表该雌性个体当年尚未出生，此举用于避免矩阵中出现缺失值（NA）。此类数据被应用于Youngflesh等人发表于《动物生态学杂志（Journal of Animal Ecology）》的层级模型（hierarchical model）研究中。
