Remote sensing Piemonte Sentinel2-NDWI spectral index

The dataset is a series of elaborations of the Sentinel Piemonte Project obtained from the processing of images of the satellite Sentinel2 of the Copernicus project. The project involves the production of derived images, with specific automatic procedures, starting from the data available in the Sentinel archives on the regional territory. The process concerns historical data and is constantly updated on the latest available images. Among the processes are produced multi-temporal series of monthly Spectral Indices formed by aggregating pixels from images acquired in the month.In the specific case, the NDWI index is based on the reflectance measurements acquired in the spectral regions of the green and the first medium infrared, useful for characterisation of the water content of surfaces.本数据集为哥白尼计划（Copernicus）旗下哨兵2号（Sentinel-2）卫星影像经处理后得到的皮埃蒙特哨兵项目（Sentinel Piemonte Project）系列衍生成果。该项目以区域范围内哨兵卫星档案中的可用数据为基础，通过特定自动化流程生成衍生影像产品。其处理流程涵盖历史影像数据，并会针对最新获取的影像持续更新。在此类处理流程中，还会生成逐月多时序光谱指数（Spectral Indices）序列，该序列通过汇总对应月份获取的影像像素值构建而成。具体而言，本数据集包含的归一化差异水体指数（NDWI），基于绿光波段与第一中红外波段的反射率测量值构建，可用于表征地表含水量。
