Bacterial diversity of Peltigera thalli, their subjacent substrates, and the surrounding soils

We used high-throughput 16S amplicon sequencing with primers that exclude cyanobacteria to characterize the bacterial communities found in thalli of P. frigida, P. fuscopraetextata, P. ponojensis/monticola 11, and P. rufescens, their subjacent substrates, and the surrounding soils, in four different sites in southern Chile.
