This study investigated gut microbiota compositions of grass carp fed with chicken dung in the novel circular agriculture mode in China. Breeding grass carp with untreated chicken dung would alter the gut microbiota compositions and induce gut microbiota harboring more pathogens and antibiotic-resistant bacteria. Our study suggest that before breeding grass fish with chicken dung, it is necessary to remove the residual antibiotics and antibiotic-resistant bacteria in the chicken dung by fermentation or other ways
