Exploratory Velocity-Adjusted Upper-Extremity Loading Profiles in Fastball Pitching: A Secondary Analysis of OpenBiomechanics Data
收藏资源简介:
This reproducibility package supports the manuscript “Exploratory Velocity-Adjusted Upper-Extremity Loading Profiles in Fastball Pitching: A Secondary Analysis of OpenBiomechanics Data”. The package contains analysis and verification scripts, derived analytical datasets, statistical outputs, sensitivity analyses, supplementary tables, publication-ready figure files, figure source data, pinned software-environment files, source-version records, and SHA-256 integrity manifests. Version 1.1.0 adds formal variance inflation factor diagnostics for both residual adjustment models, documents the categorical reference levels used in the treatment-coded design matrices, reports manuscript-facing pitch-speed values in km/h, and includes the revised generic pitching-sequence schematic with updated figure numbering. The residual models used left-handed throwing as the reference category for throwing side and college as the reference category for playing level. Predictor variance inflation factors ranged from 1.09 to 2.94, with age having the highest VIF of 2.94. The original OpenBiomechanics raw files are not redistributed. Users must obtain metadata.csv and poi_metrics.csv from the verified OpenBiomechanics source snapshot and confirm the supplied SHA-256 checksums before rerunning the analysis. Figure 2 is a generic, non-participant schematic prepared with generative-image assistance and subsequently selected, annotated, and scientifically reviewed by the authors. It is not derived from OpenBiomechanics participant photographs or videos and does not depict an actual study participant. This package is intended for research reproducibility and hypothesis-generating biomechanical analysis. It is not intended for clinical decision-making, injury-risk screening, or direct coaching deployment.
