Shâh u Gadâ (شاه و گدا).
King and beggar, also styled شاه و درويش, king and dervish, a mystical mathnawî by the same Hilâli, beginning:
اى وجود تو اصل هر موجود
هستى وبودۀ و خواهى بود
It has been translated into German verse by H. Ethé (Morgenländischo Studien, Leipzig, 1870, pp. 197-282); see also Ethé, ‘Ueber persische Tenzonen,’ in ‘Abhandlungen des fimften internationalen Orientalisten-Congresses,’ Berlin, 1882, vol. ii. pp. 130-135.
