This study explores the interactions between Trichoderma spp., a group of biocontrol fungi, and Rhizobium leguminosarum, a legume symbiont, to assess their effects on plant growth. It investigates the growth-promoting traits of Trichoderma spp., such as hormone production, nutrient solubilization, and enzyme activity. The ability of these fungi to colonize plant roots and their interactions with Rhizobium leguminosarum were evaluated through a series of laboratory and field tests. These interactions were also analyzed for their impact on peanut (Arachis hypogaea), focusing on plant growth enhancement and effects on nitrogen fixation. Additionally, the study examined the influence of Trichoderma spp. on the soil microbial community using genetic sequencing techniques, which highlighted shifts in microbial populations.
