Defining Scotland’s Places (DSP) aims to define the known extent of the archaeological sites and monuments in the National Record of the Historic Environment at Historic Environment Scotland, John Sinclair House, Edinburgh. The polygons created through Defining Scotland's Places do not carry ANY legal status. For instance they do not represent the legal extent of a Scheduled Monument or Listed Building.苏格兰地域界定项目（Defining Scotland’s Places，简称DSP）旨在厘清苏格兰历史环境局（设于爱丁堡约翰·辛克莱尔大楼）所藏《历史环境国家档案》中收录的考古遗址与纪念物的已知覆盖范围。通过本项目生成的多边形范围面不具备任何法律地位，例如，此类多边形并不代表法定保护古迹或登录建筑的法定覆盖范围。
