The general objectives of the Environmental Survey — Families (EMAF) are to investigate the habits, consumption patterns and attitudes of households in relation to the environment, housing equipment and use in relation to the different environmental aspects, so that environmental policies related to households can be formulated (energy savings, reduction of energy consumption, separation of garbage, etc.). In addition, the study allows the obtaining of comparable indicators by Autonomous Communities.
