HI Kinematic Distances of Radio Pulsars
收藏资源简介:
This dataset provides kinematic distances for pulsars based on radial velocities of HI absorption and emission features in pulsar radio spectra. Kinematic distances are derived from archival radial velocities reported in the literature, using the Reid et al. (2019) Galactic rotation curve model. The methods and data from which these distances are derived will be described in detail in an accompanying AAS Research Note by the authors. An accompanying Python program for calculating HI kinematic distances for pulsars is provided in a Github repository. Included in the dataset are: Pulsar name, Galactic coordinates, dispersion measure, lower and upper bounds on the HI radial velocity, lower and upper bounds on the pulsar distance (and their errors), notes on the nature of the distance bounds available, and the reference from which the radial velocities are drawn. Pulsar coordinates and dispersion measures are drawn from the ATNF Pulsar Catalog (Manchester et al. 2005).
