using the (sea) surfacewinds at 10 meter to forcing the wave model, WAVEWATCH III, the mean wave parameters over the Indian Ocean are produced hourly, which include significant wave height, mean wave length, mean wave period, mean wave direction and so on. The dataset is stored in a file per year.
