Structural comparisons of viral proteins against host proteins for prediction of viral protein structural mimicry

This dataset contains two ZIP archives. The first, "foldseek.zip" contains raw and processed Foldseek structural comparison output files in TSV format for viral proteins that structurally mimic host proteins or share homology with host proteins. The raw files are produced directly by Foldseek while the processed files contain corrected alignment TM-scores and metadata for the viral and host proteins. The "structural_mimics.zip" file contains two CSV files. The first contains results from running Gaussian mixture modeling on the Foldseek results to predict viral structural mimicry. The second contains Foldseek results for each viral protein selected by Gaussian mixture modeling, as well as Gaussian mixture modeling statistics and additional metadata. This release accompanies the pub, "A method for computational discovery of viral structural mimics."
