Polygonatum cyrtonema Genome sequencing

Polygonatum cyrtonema Hua (P. cyrtonema) is one of the most important traditional Chinese medicines herb with a broad pharmacological functions of polysaccharides, and polysaccharides are a class of important secondary metabolites in P. cyrtonema. To understand the potential genes that involved in polysaccharides synthesis, we conducted RNA sequencing for P. cyrtonema leaf, root and rhizome tissues to identify more transcribed genes.
