This dataset contains the research data supporting the article entitled "Health Decisions and Functioning, Shaped by PTSD Symptoms Based on the Sociodemographic Characteristics of Survivors of the Colombian Armed Conflict"

The dataset was generated as part of a research study examining the relationship between post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptoms, sociodemographic characteristics, health-related decisions, and functioning among survivors of the Colombian armed conflict. The data support the statistical analyses and findings presented in the associated manuscript, which is currently being submitted to Conflict and Health. The dataset includes the variables necessary to reproduce and interpret the analyses presented in the article, including sociodemographic characteristics, PTSD-related measures, health decisions, and functioning indicators. The dataset has been prepared and de-identified for research data sharing purposes. To protect the privacy, confidentiality, and safety of participants, the deposited dataset does not contain directly identifying personal information or other information that could reasonably be used to identify individual participants. Data have been handled in accordance with the ethical and confidentiality requirements applicable to research involving human participants. This dataset is intended to promote transparency, reproducibility, and responsible reuse of the research findings. Users who access the dataset are expected to use it exclusively for legitimate scientific and academic purposes and to respect the confidentiality and ethical considerations associated with research involving survivors of armed conflict.
