Photograph of the old courthouse in Mariposa, ca.1930. The wooden clock tower of the courthouse is visible as it rises up from behind a row of trees. There is a single rectangular door directly below the clock and it is flanked by windows with striped awnings shading them. There are three cars parked near a fence in front of the building and a tree-covered ridge in the background. At the time of this photo, this was the oldest courthouse in continuous use in California.
