Persistence of bribery practices in Nigeria

This dataset provides the perceptions of ordinary people on the relationship between societal acceptance of bribery, anti-bribery measures, socio-economic impacts of bribery, demographic factors and persistence of bribery practices. A multi-stage sampling technique was used to target the respondents. A total of 887 grassroots respondents participated, out of which 836 responses were used for quantitative data analyses. Statistical Packages for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 23 and SmartPLS3.0 were used to determine the reliability and validity of the data. The data is useful to the authorities in formulating strategies to deal decisively with the issues of bribery practices in Nigeria.本数据集收录了普通民众关于贿赂的社会接受度、反贿赂举措、贿赂的社会经济影响、人口统计因素与贿赂行为持续存在之间关系的认知与看法。本次调研采用多阶段抽样技术选取受访者，共计887名基层受访者参与，其中836份有效回复被用于定量数据分析。研究采用社会科学统计软件包（Statistical Packages for Social Sciences）23.0版本与SmartPLS3.0，对数据的信度与效度进行检验。该数据集可协助尼日利亚相关部门制定策略，以果断处置国内贿赂行为相关问题。
