Regional Natural Park project in Argonne (Ardennes, Meuse and Marne) Formerly situated on horseback between the Champagne-Ardenne and Lorraine regions, the Argonne is now positioned west of the Grande Région. With an area of approximately 2.200 km² (220.000 ha), the study area of the Regional Natural Park project in Argonne concerns a rather large area (161 municipalities and 35000 inhabitants) considering the existing NRP areas in the Greater East Region.
