Regional Natural Park project in Argonne (Ardennes, Meuse and Marne)
Formerly situated on horseback between the Champagne-Ardenne and Lorraine regions, the Argonne is now positioned west of the Grande Région.
With an area of approximately 2.200 km² (220.000 ha), the study area of the Regional Natural Park project in Argonne concerns a rather large area (161 municipalities and 35000 inhabitants) considering the existing NRP areas in the Greater East Region. Compared to most of these other metropolitan NRPs, the scope of the project
from PNR in Argonne is also farther away from the major urban hubs.
