MODEL FOR DEVELOPING SPEAKING SKILLS IN THE UZBEK LANGUAGE IN CLASSES WHERE EDUCATION IS CONDUCTED IN RUSSIAN

This article analyzes the issues of developing students’ speaking skills in the Uzbek language in classes where education is conducted in Russian. The importance of the communicative approach in teaching Uzbek as a second language, the types of speech activities, and the methodology of gradually forming speaking skills are discussed. The study proposes a pedagogical model aimed at developing students’ oral speech, in which the mechanisms for organizing the teaching process are presented based on motivational, cognitive, practical, and reflective stages. In addition, ways to increase students’ speech activity through educational tasks, interactive methods, and communicative exercises are substantiated.
