Auditory tone sequences, durations five seconds constructed by concatenating two 2.5-second sequences. Tone duration is 30ms with 5ms onset and offset ramps and stimulus onset asynchrony 50ms. One half of the sequence contains interleaved high and low notes, with a eight-semitone difference (dF) between the centre frequency of the high (CF<sub>H</sub>) and low tones (CF<sub>L</sub>) sets. Within the high(low) tone set there are seven different tone frequencies equally spaced on a log scale over the range +/- two semitones (jF) of CF<sub>H</sub> (CF<sub>L</sub>).
