<p>Spatial data supporting the England Woodland Creation Offer (EWCO) additional contribution targeting for Nature Recovery, where the layer indicates ‘High Spatial Priority’.<span> </span>‘Higher’ and ‘Lower’ priority areas for woodland network expansion.<span> </span>This layer is identical to that titled ‘CS WCM Biodiversity - Priority Habitat Network’ also visible on the Forestry Commission Map Browser.</p><p></p><p>Data input sources:</p> <p>National Forest Inventory (NFI) 2012 Map plus additional woodland habitat network modelling provided by Forest Research.</p><br /><p></p><p></p><p>Attributes:</p> <p>‘cat’ – ‘Higher’ and ‘Lower’ priority area for woodland network expansion</p> <p>‘csht_pnts’ – base scoring value for Countryside Stewardship Higher Tier</p> <p>‘cswc_mpnts’ - scoring value per Ha for Countryside Stewardship woodland creation</p> <p>‘ewco_val’ – EWCO £ value the additional contribution provides per Ha if awarded</p><br /><p></p><p></p><p>Lineage:</p> <p>First published to support the woodland creation grant under Countryside Stewardship (CS), launched in 2015.<span> </span>The layers attributes were updated in 2021 to cater for the new England Woodland Creation Offer (EWCO) scheme.</p>
