Single cell RNA sequencing of full term and preterm rat kidney

Prematurity has been identified as a long-term risk factor for chronic kidney disease. Knowledge of the potential pathogenesis is limited. In this project, single-cell RNA sequencing of preterm rat kidney and full term kidney from rat pup were performed and subsequent bioinformatical analysis were also taken out to explore the differential gene expression patterns between them. The aim of the current project was to provide some new understanding of mechanism of long term CKD caused by preterm birth.
