<b>Language of Genocide: A Content Analysis of Israeli Officials’ October 2023 Statements</b>

The study relies on a dataset compiled by Law for Palestine in collaboration with Visualizing Palestine. This dataset documents over 400 instances of hate speech and incitement to violence against Palestinians by Israeli officials, military personnel, and public figures. For this research, the scope was narrowed to 68 statements made by government officials and ex-officials between October 7 and October 31, 2023. These statements were selected from the dataset’s "ws-oct-final" subsheet based on their alignment with genocidal intent as defined by the Genocide Convention. The other sub-sheets, created by the author to cross-check analysis, are also included in the date set for complete transparency.
